*Update* Persa has been found and is safe.

Have you seen this girl?

I have a favor to ask of all of you. A young woman named Persa who I know from things like NaNoWriMo and the Blogathon has gone missing. It seems she was having some problems at home and ran away but no one knows for sure. If you have seen her or have any information on her whereabouts please contact us emmediately. We all just want to know that she is safe. For more information please go to the page her family set up at http://www.zulas.com/persa.htm .

Persa:
Sweety I don’t know you well enough to know your reasons for leaving but I know you enough to care. If you really feel like you can’t come home, contact me or one of your other friends to let us know you are ok. We will do whatever we can to help you. If you don’t want to come home, that’s ok, we’ll get you help wherever you are. We just want to know that you’re safe. If nothing else, know that there are a LOT of people who love and miss you and we all want to help.

I’m alive

I haven’t posted in a long time huh? That would be because I’m writing a novel for NaNoWriMo; it takes up most of my time. But I haven’t forgotten TPC. So here’s an update :

I went to the dentist and had all my wisdom teeth pulled a week before my birthday. While I was there I saw a woman brush her teeth in the waiting room with what appeared to be a prehistoric toothbrush. That was gross. Really gross. My mouth hurt for two weeks and all I could eat was pureed fruits and veggies.

For my 24th birthday I got a book of Pagan poetry, four DVD’s of Disney movies, a vegetable steamer and two paperback books. It was the nicest birthday I’ve had in a long time.

This week I went Yule shopping and bout a bunch of toys for my nephews who are positively adorable. I also gave a homeless lady five dollars which made her happy and me sad because I wished I could do more. But mostly, I’m writing my novel, which according to my mom, is Pulizer worthy but I think she might be a little biased.

This year I’m cooking a turkey. We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving but the store gave us a free turkey so what the hell. Cross your fingers that I don’t burn the house down.

Now, purely for your enjoyment, amusing links that have nothing to do with this post:

Cat Bowling and Lepre Kong – Games I play when ignoring my novel.

End Of The World – An animated bit o’ humor.

The first NaNo novel I’ve been reading. It’s very good.

Another good story.

And another one. What can I say, I like to read.

Good luck and blessings, Prana

NaNoWriMo Update:

Hello and thank you for reading my NaNo Novel, “Liv & Di”. I hope you’ve enjoyed the first few pages of the novel and I welcome you to return in December of 2003 for the finished book. I’d like to thank the following people for helping me in one way or another thus far.

My bestist girlfriend Jamie for being a supportive friend. My awesome husband and editor Sean. My mom for buying me all those books as a kid and for encouraging me to write. My cats for going hungry because I keep forgetting to eat, sleep and bathe let alone feed them. My muse Neva for being the schizophrenic slavemaster she is. And finally to the wonderful people who run NaNoWriMo and the other authors who continue to amaze and inspire me.

I look forward to sharing my final product with you shortly. Good luck and blessings, Prana
