Yep, it’s NanoWrimo time. If you don’t know what NanoWrimo is, it’s a contest of sorts (well more like an internal battle of wills) where wannabe writers cram a years worth of work into one month. You start on November 1st and by November 30th you’re supposed to have 50,000 words and a finished novel. That doesn’t usually happen, but it doesn’t matter, because the real point of the exercise is to express yourself and exercise your creative demons. Plus you get to hang with other nifty narrative hopefuls and read thier novels along the way. This is my first year but I have some friends who are Nano-Veterans so I know it will be fun.
