Same Old Same Old
Hello imaginary readers. Not much to report this week. I had an appointment with my Obgyn on moms birthday (the 27th, Happy Birthday Mom!) and he increased the dosage of my medications but said everything looks good and is functioning properly now. A couple days ago I forgot to take one of my pills, and it should also be mentioned that you are supposed to take them with food, and so I took two at once on an empty stomache shortly before going to bed. That was incredibly stupid of me, my only excuse is that I was totally exhausted. I had a rather bad reaction and Sean had to come home from work and stay with me all day which I felt terrible about. Basically what happened is this. In my case it resulted in waking up paralyzed then having the muscles in one leg go rock hard and become extremely painful (as in I was literally screaming the pain was so bad). I was paralyzed like that for about a half hour and barely reachde the phone to call Sean. Even after we were able to relax the muscles enough to move I could barely walk, like my muscles had become jello and wouldn’t respond to my commands. It’s deadly in about 50% of people who get it so you can bet your sweet muffins I won’t be doing that again. I may even switch to a different medication.
I started a DeviantArt gallery so make sure you go take a look-see at my pretty scribbles and leave me a comment. Even if you’ve seen my stuff before you should check it out because I updated a lot of my pieces and they look a lot nicer now. I’ll be uploaded all my artwork to Charmed Design shortly and finishing the site up. I’ll also probabl close my Elfwood gallery. It’s not that it’s a bad place so much as that it’s so horribly disorganized and no one ever leaves me feedback I can actually use to improve my work.
We’ve made some progress on Pet Integrity, there is now a gallery of some of the cats up if you’d like to go see it. The gallery program is giving us fits though so I guess we’ll be working on that again this weekend. We have a staff meeting tomorrow at the rescue. What does one bring to a staff meeting? Fudge? Rice krispie treats?
It was nice out today so we opened all the windows to let some air in. We were on the back patio and turned the faucet on to wash the sand off the patio and a spider came running out of the faucet. He’s a neat lookin feller ain’t he?
