This is MY Milwaukee. Is it yours?

http://www.thisismymilwaukee.com/

It starts innocently enough. You’re browsing one of the online video sites and it catches your eye or you get an email from a friend saying ‘Hey, I found this weird video, check it out’. So you do, because you’re curious and maybe it’ll be good for a few laughs. When it’s over, you’re amused and confused and more than a little intrigued. You let it go, shake your head, people make odd videos all the time. But it nags at you, like an itch you can’t scratch. So you watch it again. And again.

Six weeks later, you’re sitting in front of the computer, sheaves of paper with hastily scrawled notes all around you, a multitude of tabs open to websites you never would have visited before, cryptic puzzles printed, folded, marked and rearranged crowd your desktop. You briefly wonder if you’ve lost your mind before realizing that is exactly what THEY want you to think! Who could have guessed a mere six weeks ago that you’d be researching state exports, historical and literary figures, biblical references and desert flora? Someone familiar with the world of alternate reality gaming my friend, that’s who.

If you’re the kind of person who can’t abide a mystery, who loved choose your own adventure books as a kid, who lives for a good scavenger hunt or gets tingly in the toes when faced with a puzzle, you are an ARGer dear reader, and don’t even know it. And you, lucky duck that you are, are about to embark on a magnificent adventure! All you have to do is drop down the rabbit hole. Swallow the red pill. Deceptively simple…think carefully before you choose. Are you game? If the answer is yes, watch the video above. And then pass it around. Insanity loves company. If you make it out the other end with your mental faculties intact contact me and we’ll get together for a hamBURGer.

As I was reading your blog I started to look around and become aware of my surroundings. Are we using the same computer? Because that description sums up what I see. Though it was nice of you not to mention the dirty dishes from when the Info Packet came and I didn’t get up to eat at the kitchen table. :)
